What's New
While Summer is usually a time of leisure, GPAEE was hard
at work reshaping itself. Over the last few months, we looked
to expand upon both our operational form & function by
planning several structural changes. Among these upcoming
key structural changes are:
- New Website. GPAEE will soon roll out its own dedicated
website! This will better enable our members to stay connected
with what’s going on with GPAEE and the rest of the
Philadelphia energy community.
- New Logo. After many years, GPAEE felt it time
to develop a more distinct image.
- Register & Pay for Events on-line. Soon you
will no longer be required to call someone in order to register
for one of GPAEE’s monthly events. Nor will you be
required to send in a check, in order to pay for the monthly
event. Instead, you will be able to both register &
pay on-line via GPAEE’s new secure website! Look for
the advent of on-line registering & payment in an upcoming
GPAEE’s Event Announcement.
- Register & Pay for Membership on-line. Paying
annual Membership dues will soon no longer require you to
send in a time-consuming (and postage-requiring) check,
as well.
- New Board Officers. Change was even evident among
GPAEE’s personnel, as Board elections brought several
changes. See our Board link section.
- Revamped Newsletter format. Even our time-honored
newsletter received a make-over. The editor’s torch
was also passed along, as founding editor Liz Kimmel decided
to ‘retire’ from her GPAEE editorial post. We
thank her for her many years of gracious & dutiful service,
which provided the Chapter with a solid foundation from
